7 Days of Sex: Episode 6 was a MAJOR SUCCESS!! Two couples reached marital bliss after participating in 7 consecutive Days of Sex for the new Lifetime reality series.
In 7 Days of Sex: Episode 6 we watch as two couples struggle to maintain intimacy and romance in their relationships. Erica and Bobby describe their sex life as being “minimal,” while Eric and Dorothy describe themselves as being in a sex “drought.
Erica and Bobby have been married for 1.5 years and find it difficult to connect and find time for one another. Erica describes Bobby as being a complete workaholic who doesn’t spend much time with her. Their sex life has dropped off drastically.
Dorothy and Eric have been married for 12 years, and find it difficult to make time for romance with three young daughters at home. Parenthood has really changed things for Dorothy and Eric, and Eric states, “at the end of the day she simply doesn’t have the energy for me.”
Day 1 of 7 Days of Sex:
Dorothy and Eric are at home with the kids and Eric feels that the environment is a little “crazy.” Dorothy does not seem to mind the chaos, and loves playing with the girls. At the end of Day 1, Dorothy states, “It’s late. I’m tired… I want to go to sleep.” OH NO! The last time this couple had sex was one month ago, so they can’t fail here. Luckily Dorothy stays awake long enough to have sex, but Eric states, “she didn’t get to where she needs to be.” But it was still a success.
Bobby and Erica talk to their friends to let them know about the 7 Days of Sex experiment, and find that their friends are extremely supportive. Bobby and Erica have a successful Day 1 on 7 Days of Sex.
Day 2 of 7 Days of Sex:
Eric is determined to get some attention from Dorothy, and feels that she is always directing her attention at the kids (I think we have seen this theme in past episodes!). Eric decides that their home needs more order, so he sets up an incentive sticker chart for the girls to do their chores. Dorothy states, “it actually turned me on a little bit.” Everyone’s chore chart is COMPLETE when Dorothy and Eric have a successful Day 2!
Erica decides to clear Bobby’s work clutter from the bedroom. After all, a bedroom is a place for sleep and sex, not for work and clutter. Their Day 2 of 7 Days of Sex is a “vast improvement” over Day 1.
Day 3 of 7 Days of Sex:
Dorothy decides to bring Eric to a Tango class, after all she is musically inclined. Eric and Dorothy learn how to make seductive glances at one another, and move together in harmony. Day 3 of 7 Days of Sex is a success and Eric states that Dorothy, “got to where she needed to be.”
Bobby takes Erica to a Tantric Sex class where they learn to “find joy in everything.” Erica is a little embarrassed about the whole thing, but in the end they learn a lot about seduction and intimacy. Day 3 of 7 Days of Sex is a big success for Bobby and Erica. They hope to take the advanced course in Tantric Sex.
Day 4 of 7 Days of Sex:
Eric tells Dorothy that they are going to have a night away from the kids and go to a hotel. Dorothy is a little uneasy about leaving the kids for the evening, but she eventually gets comfortable with the idea. At the hotel room they are both very comfortable and relaxed without having the kids running around. Dorothy and Eric definitely hit the HIGH NOTES on Day 4 of 7 Days of Sex.
Bobby has a surprise for Erica, and it’s not really what she is hoping for. Bobby brings her to an RV resort even though she was hoping for a nice hotel. “I don’t do those initials,” Erica states (referring to the “RV” initials). They still have a nice time together on Day 4 of 7 Days of Sex.
Day 5 of 7 Days of Sex:
Eric hopes to have some afternoon nooky with Dorothy before the kids get home. He surprises her with a nice lunch and roses. She is completely taken offguard and they have an amazing afteroon quickie together.
Bobby is busy catching up on his work rather than attending to the goals for Day 5. He doesn’t finish up until 2:18 a.m., but luckily Erica is still awake and they manage to complete the task for Day 5 of 7 Days of Sex.
Day 6 of 7 Days of Sex:
Dorothy wants to “step it up,” so she gives Eric a massage, which he is absolutely in love with. They giggle as they complete the task for Day 6 of 7 Days of Sex.
Bobby tries to get out of the dog house after he spent too much time doing work the night before, rather than paying attention to his wife. Bobby sets up the room with candles and a bubble bath. They have a successful Day 6 of 7 Days of Sex.
Day 7 of 7 Days of Sex: The Recommitment Ceremony:
Both couples reach success again as they recommit to one another and have a successful Day 7 of 7 Days of Sex.
Dorothy – “I promise to do the wifely duties. I promise to offer a massage at least once a week or whenever it’s needed. I pomise to take a back seat and let Eric plan..”
Eric – “I’ve got to be more patient, especially in listening to your feelings… I promise to keep our intimacy alive every single day, whether it be in small gestures or big sweeping moments.”
Erica – “I promise to continue to have a spirit of adeventure and share new experiences with you… and continue to work on trying to relax.”
Bobby – “I will stop making the room my office. I promise to have a date night at least once a week… make conscious effort to spend more time at home with my wife.”
