Resident Evil: Degeneration or Biohazard: Degeneration of the Resident Evil franchise focuses on Leon and Claire who try to survive the zombie apocalypse. The T-vaccine, the only vaccine for the T-virus, was completely wiped out. As they try to survive and help find another cure, they uncover a plot by the people they trusted.
Koutetsujou no Kabaneri
Koutetsujou no Kabaneri (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) is about kabanes – or the undead – overrunning the planet. Because they are almost impossible to kill, the living have built fortresses to keep the kabanes out. They use hayajiros or steam locomotives to travel safely from one fortress to another. But one hayajiro was taken over by kabanes. Ikoma, a brave engineer tried to fight using his invention but failed and was bitten. He turns into a kabaneri, a human and kabane hybrid. He tries to find a vaccine that will treat all kabanes and a weapon to defend themselves against them.
